World War I, flyer

This appears to be the kind of man who has the courage to go into bad places and do bad things to bad people. It's a scan from a stack of found old unkown negatives.

  1. Yes
World War 1 German Plane.
Since your other photos are mostly of US, or Lafayette Escadrille this maybe a captured plane or after Armistice?
In WW1 there was at least one Jewish pilot named Wilhelm Frankl who flew for Germany and won the Pour le Merite, or Blue Max, for shooting down I believe 8 or 16 enemy planes.
