There's a puzzle. What's the nature of that establishment? Nicely framed: two people unaware of each other, though the man seems to be unhappy and looking at that guy with the camera...

A great shot. This picture with its 2 separate people, especially the man and the title of the boarded-up shop just needs the dialogue from Renton in "Choose Life"

Woodland Creatures is a bar/cafe and restaurant, offering "proper Scottish Scran" to customers. They say they have "something for everyone". When you enter the doors you are transported into a world where you can pretend you are in a wood with creatures. It all sounds a bit bizarre to me. I can imagine Renton in Woodland Creatures "choosing life". I think the man is looking at me. I made a quick exit.

Ah, so I take it that it is still in business and the shutters on the windows and the shut doors simply indicted that it was closed at that time and not closed permanently?

Yes he does look as if he is looking at you. So maybe he is Begbie ready to start a fight in a telephone box

This was taken before opening time. Woodland Creatures is popular especially in the summer or on a Saturday if Hibs have a home match scheduled. A fight with Begbie would have one outcome only I'm afraid. What a thought!
