I shot my first ever roll of film 2 months ago so I am still at the stage of putting everything that I'm reading from books into practice and learning from mistakes.
I made three exposers of this photo. Red filter, N-1 and straight out of the camera.
I decided this was my favourite with the red filter.

You are learning fast! This is quite a striking photo. Well done.
I might be tempted to crop just below the black shoreline? in the top right. There is a lovely rhythm to the black outline of the rocks? on the left and another competing black shape tends to draw me away a bit rather than keep me absorbed in the patterns and tones on the left.

It must have felt right when taking this to have the black on top

I think the crop would throw it off balance , but that is where we are all different...

I like it as is
