I think this is the better of the two. The combination of lighter printing and the warmtone seem more apropriate for this image. The other version seems too dark and murky to me.

I agree that this is better, opened up the image a lot giving it a much better feeling of light.

I like this one a lot better....not as ominous....I don't like ominous!

I find this an excellent example of the printers art, because I can compare it to the straight neg scan you posted earlier. I'm interested to know how much the rendition owes to the developer, and how much to the toner. A very satisfying picture.
