Street scenes are fun and available nearly everywhere. I did a series in the early '70's. You did a fine job here, they have a surreal look to them.
By the way how do you like your F3 HP? I have one and with glasses it's a pleasure to use. The only problem now is that my son has taken a liking to it!

Thanks Curt,
These are my firsts posts on APUG....
I love the F3 HP, actually bought another one last year from Christian Olivet on this forum...I usually carry it and also a pentax 50 1.4 I got in 1970...I am currently filing and scanning street scenes from 1967 to the present, it is an obsession...

Surreal shot, Dave,

For me shooting at night has so many possiblities. I like the weirdness of it all. Did you use a tripod or hand held? I will be making a photo trip to Vegas with a friend from work near the end of March and am looking forward to some night shooting.

thanks Kate....all hand held....I have a series of these store fronts at night....this is a vanishing part of Vegas...lower Fremont....note reversed reflection of Fremont Medical center sign in reflection....condition of the sign pretty much sums up the condition of the area...

Wow, Dave,

You have a steady hand. Have you ever tried the Fuji 1600 Neopan. It's a beautiful film with an amazingly fine grain. I guess I'll have to be careful about shooting at night in Vegas. Hope to find some APUGGERS nearby in or around Vegas.

thanks Kate, I started "doing this" in the late 60's using a pentax spotmatic and a takumar 1.4....I still use that camera when i use a 50 mm 1.4 for the street stuff..I will tru the fugi you have suggested....also Vegas is quite safe to shoot if you stay in the tourist areas, and in most places in the daylight....some of these are done after midnight in some shakey parts....let us know when you are around.

Your welcome Dave,

My friend who is a newbie at photography has been dying to go to Vegas and shoot some night stuff in colour. I am more of a B&W shooter and want to find some more run down parts of Vegas as well as the usual neon lights. I am applying to shoot at the Neon Sign Graveyard in the daytime.( We have to get a special permit and specify time and date) We will be coming to Vegas at the end of March.
