I love the expression on this man's face. I wish you would have cropped it slightly lower, about half way below the knees and feet, or halfway up the thighs, for a less 'knee capped' look. Other than that, very enjoyable.
We have a similar establishment with Fort Snelling, once the Minnesota frontier. But it's on a much smaller scale. I always find it interesting to photograph the volunteers and people there.

Thomas, thanks for the suggestion...it was actually a question I struggled with when I took the picture. I had a 200mm lens and could not move any further back. I figured that, in fact, I would probably crop it further up but after I scanned the negative, I decided that I liked the junk hanging off his belt on the left side... so I left it that way. The only thing I cropped out were the "tourists" on either side of him. I had followed him around for about 20 minutes looking for a clear shot, like I was able to get on the others. BTW, I believe that he is portraying Sam Houston...
This is the first time I have ever been to one of these types of events... I wasn't sure what to expect. A 35mm with a zoom might have been a better choice over the Bronica, but I am much more comfortable with the square, medium format.
