This is a crop from a 4x5" negative. Years after taking this picture, I was in the same area and I ended up in the little lobster shack in this picture and I didn't even realize that I had photographed it years before. I will post a color picture of the inside of that shack later. It turns out that Wyeths (painters) featured this shack in many of their paintings. Also, a color photograph of it taken from the from the vantage point shown here but much more tightly cropped was a famous photograph used as inspiration after 9/11. The Governor of Maine and President Bush have it in their offices. I didn't know any of this when I found this shack. My eyes were just attracted to it.
