I spend two summers in Lithuania in 1976/77 I was 13 at that time , my mother took me to see an exhibition of work by some
lithuanian photographers, I can still see some of those images 30 years later , I can not remmember who's work it was, I remmember the work was of ordinary people in there homes and outdoors with horses and sheep, the intereaction with a camera was incredible , some people were looking at you , some were doing their work without paying any attention to the camera , some people were cut by a frame in half ,it was all in black/white, a lot of it was done with a wide angle lens with a lot of sky... your link had other links to some Lithuanian photographers that made me think of this.
