Congratulations on a nice image, I would say the wait was worth it. Not a critique of the image, but must say the ps shadow around the image, takes away from the photograph and draws to much attention to the border. But that is my opinion and it is your work, so take the comment with a grain of salt.

I know you do nice work Kolb, I have seen your stuff on Ebay before. Very fine new image, and yes...you should do away with the tricky border. No need for it!

Thanks for the kind comments. Checking my notes, I did use a yellow filter to lighten the foliage on the right and with the trees down the valley. This was my first attempt processing with minimal agitation and I think I like the detail (micro contrast).
