Homage to Rodin

In August I saw the movie "Camille Claudel" that treats a young sculptress who was influenced by Rodin. Then, I went to a workshop with Ernestine Ruben (http://www.ernestineruben.com) in which we photographed the body for a weekend. The influence of the movie on my vision during the workshop was evident. This is one of the products of that weekend.

Lovely tones. The hand in the background looks a bit disjointed and mysterious- is it the model's hand or someone else's? Thanks for sharing and looking forward to seeing more.
All the best,
Daniel

Nice detail! I like the look of this warmtone paper. I had asked a question about the use of warm/cool tone papers in a post here but I can see the advantage in this case.

I actually liked the hand right away and assumed it was a male hand?? Maybe it was just my image of what it should be. thanks
