How are you liking the paper? Any idea how much KBr is in the Weston Amidol? I've found adding significantly more to my standard brew creates a really nice warmish color, not all that dissimilar to those lovely platinum prints you make.
Hi Shawn. The Weston's is 9g Amidol; 10g Potassium Bromide, 5g Citric Acid and 29g Sodium Sulfite to a liter. The print was a cool color with beautiful inky blacks. When toned in selenium 1:20 it warmed up nicely. The scanner really doesn't do this justice.
Selenium 1:20 seems very high concentrate. With the standard Azo and my Lodima i use 1:60 or like Mike a 1:120. This really doesn't change anything in 3-5 mins but gives you a good stable print with nice blacks.
I may try more dilute with this paper. I use the selenium mixed with hypo clear at about 95 degees for 90 sec. to 2 min. It warmed up more than I thought.
