Thanks, Bill. Even though they're just vacation snaps they are a pleasant reminder of the places I visited. The stones of the abbey are low contrast so it's rather tricky to bring out the neat textures. The structure itself is a marvel of engineering and artistry- definitely worth the visit.

Vacation snaps?

Hehe, Thom- not exactly snaps then. Not everybody would consider hauling a MF kit and tripod around a fun vacation, but I don't get over to Scotland all that often and couldn't pass up the opportunity.
