I'm afraid that my local supermarket is going to have me picked up for suspected food tampering. After 20 minutes of picking up pieces of fruit, holding them at eye level, carefully examining them from different angles and returning all but a few of them to the bin, I start to get some odd looks.
This is cool. I am going to be really picky here. The stem of the fallen pear is pointing in wrong direction. Right now it looks fallen and rolled. not just fallen over. If it just fell over it should be pointing towards the ground. Like I said really picky.
Very cool.
The fallen pear is a counter point and should have the stem pointing in a different direction. Just as it is aok or good that it is less pear shaped and has a zit. Just my 2p
Great job from selecting your subjects, to lighting and exposure...the printing is darn good too!! Cropped or did you use a splitter of some sort? Sure would make a nice plt/pld print....hint
Mike, Banding in my easle is a lot easier than cropping the neg while shooting. It was shot with that crop in mind, though. The neg shows the studio crap above and below the narrow background area.
I have a lot of catching up to do before I can measure up to the Pt/Pd printers here on APUG.
I have looked in our supermarkets for unusual fruit and veg but the trouble nowadays is that anything in less than a perfect shape is rejected and not displayed.
