Daffodil #1

I am really enjoying the tonal range useing natural daylight. This will be one of my images to represent spring together with a poem by Barbara Long shown below.

Daffodil

To push through the hardened earth
Is its annual toil
Then a yellow bloom
O’er the frozen soil.

In times of war, strife or joy
One thing remains still
The eternal hope
Of the daffodil.

An excellent rendition, and tonal range, and all the better for finding a "different" view point. Not many of us would think of taking a flower head from what I regard as the back.

I have little to add to what's already been said, but you have achieved remarkable quality and message with this image series. Congratulations on work very well done. It almost has qualities of a painted piece of artwork. Clean brush strokes.
