Photograph made at Sloughs Wildlife Management Area. The cypress knees were hard to isolate from the background shrubs. Bright overcast with a veiled sun casting faint shadows. Subject brightness range 4 zones, III to VI, not including reflected white sky in the water.

Exposure
1/2 sec f/32; the average of the shadowed sides of the knees placed on ZIII; sunlit white ice, middle-right, fell on ZVI
Film & Developer
Kodak TMax 100; XTOL 1+1; negative given an estimated N+1 development
Paper & Developer
Ilford MG RC Deluxe ; Dektol 1+3; selenium 1+10; this is an unmanipulated work print.
Digital Post Processing Details
Print Scan on Epson V700; contrast only bump in Lightroom to closely match the print.
