Hi JT, this is a great shot. I would love to see the print. This picture also reminds me of the work of the Dutch painter M.C.Escher. I know what you mean about being chased off site. It happens to me on a regular basis. But in the name of photography and art we just have to take these risks---grin. And the risk was certainly worthwhile in your case.
Warm regards
Julian
Julian,
Thanks for your note. I appreciate the comments. It's strange here how many people get unsettled when you walk around with a camera. I was told here that "due to 9/11 we no longer allow photography". A sad state of affairs....

I have often seen these construction sites and they always draw me in but I could never figure out how to make a good photograph. You have certainly done a wonderful job with this.
Bill,
I was only able to make this work because I could get the appropriate angle to keep converging lines working in my favor. A factor of the specific job site, really. But I like the way this worked. THanks for your comments.

dynamic image. Would make nice wallpaper (tongue in cheek!). I'm very slightly bothered by the cropping at bottom. The lowest (beam) is kind of messing with the dynamism of the image by grounding the movement to the frame of the image. I LIKE the optical effect of the image - though I feel it could be improved and strengthened by taking care of the framing a bit better. Perhaps it could be rememedied by resorting a (slightly) more diagonal framing of the subject - ? Have you explored that option? I don't think it would be incompatible with your 'vision'.
