Very good! Back to the old primitive photographic days!!

Great. Now I know I'm going to be bidding these cameras up against Guillaume and Thomas Bertilsson...and those guys are RICH.

The camera I use is so basic. Just an ordinary folding 6x9. Ihagee brand is German and is pretty rare in America (I bought mine in Russia - it was probably a WW2 trophy) but there are many similar cameras from 1920s - 30s you can buy on a flea market for $50-70. You might end up buying several cameras before you get lens that's right for you. I was lucky with mine. Lens works so that image quality is absolutely unpredictable. I can shoot several rolls without getting a good picture and then get something I never expected.
The results I had with the camera are related in some way to my income. I started this series 20 years ago when I was poor, really poor. I had to use what I had to the maximum of its potential. Times changed. I bought recently a new 4x5 in addition to my collection of cameras and I don't know what to do with her.

He's been everywhere so it would seem. And yes, this is by far my favorite.

Don't trust that JerseyVic guy, he doesn't know what he's talking about...
I agree that sometimes the materials get between the photographer and the subject matter. Back to JerseyVic - all of his Holga shots are phenomenal. Goes to prove it's the brains behind the camera that matters, not the camera itself.
I have enjoyed almost everything you've posted so far. I am deeply impressed.
