This upload shows more apparent graininess than appears in the 5x7 original. It was scanned at 125 DPI in jpeg to keep the file below 500 K. Any suggestions on how to get better imaging whilst staying within the upload parameters? TIA
What kind of scanner are you using? I usually scan at 360 ppi as a tiff file first, then re-size and change to jpg for apug. My picture of the goat (you commented on it so I'm using it as a reference) started as a 2 1/4 neg. I flatbed scanned at 360 ppi. I resized to 76ppi, dimensions 550x550, size 7.2" x 7.2," color profile sRGB (you might want to check your profile). Hope this helps.
