Spiraling Tomato

I can't seem to grow may decent eating tomatoes this year, but they are photogenic. Also gave me a chance to try out my new 120mm Makro for the Hasselblad. Needed an additional extension tube for this shot, though. It was shot on black foam core.

Lovely! I've just been eating my produce this year. Should get the studio reassembled (it was the guest room over the summer) and see what I can come up with. I'd be thrilled get results half as good as yours.

I love this Mark! Wish my garden tomatoes looked this good (or bad?!). Great execution.

I love this kind of abstraction. I could get lost in this and would love to see a BIG print of it. The darkness and contrast are rich and sumptuous. Thanks for your interest in tomatoes and for sharing

Great! Love the dark tones with the highlights. Well done. Our tomatoes didn't do anything this year - too cool this Summer. Squash, on the other hand...

All I did was set the the tomato on a piece of black foamcore on a table on my porch. I also used another piece of black foamcore to block some light from one direction. No studio.
