I was having a bit of fun with some old Kodak Porta 160NC C-41 film.

I developed this 120 film in a 400ML steel developing container.

I used:

22g Washing Soda
0.5g Potassium Bromide (or a pinch or 2 of iodized table salt)
6g Vitamin C (ascorbic acid from health food store-powder)
16g Folgers Instant Coffee.

Mix it in order. Measure temperature. Mine was 75F/23.9C

5 minute water presoak. 9 minute development. 3 gentle inversions at the top of every minute. Water Stop Bath. Fixer- 5 min with a 10 minute rinse. a little Kodak Photoflow in water to keep water spots off. Or you can use a couple drops of dishsoap in water to keep the water from drying with spots.

I love Caffenol, but have not tried it on C41 film yet. Looks great. How is the density?
