We have moved to Jacksonville, Florida, and this kind of photograph will be possible to make all year long now that I have retired. It was made just after Hurricane Irene had passed leaving nothing but gorgeous skies while, ironically, it was making its way up the coast to finally slam into where I then lived in New York. In fact, the eye of the storm passed through Harriman State Park less than 10 miles from our house. I'm surprised I never posted it until now.

All of your work shares a quiet elegance. It never screams, "look at me". Rather, it invites the viewer in. I like that.

Thank you all for your comments. Yes, Bruce, I've moved to Florida...but it's north Florida, more like south Georgia! lol And, thank you Michael R. It's really nice to be retired at last!!
