I must say that this for me, is an acceptable blue as the cyanotype colour is not one that I relate to easily. Is this the traditional formula or the Mike Ware method ?

The secret to the deep blue is the paper. Lenox 100. I use the traditional cyanotype method and only single coat.

It's the 1860's and I'm leaning on my muzzleloader shivering while I stand watch. I'm there!

Excellent scene. Fabulous detail and sharpness. I'm reading about alt processes these days and this photo is a great motivation.

Very Very Nice - and true about color from using the right paper - I get blues like this with Cranes Plainotype as well. Another trick is to rince in H2O2 after the water development - it will finish the oxidation very fast.
