A demonstration outside the Filmhouse in Edinburgh. It's closed and a group of enthusiasts, including me , are attempting to get it open again. As always, it's a money issue.

Best of luck. In the 60s I used to enjoy the Cosmo Cinema just off Union Street in Aberdeen. Long since gone. All sorts of non mainstream stuff was shown

Unfortunately there aren't many independent cinemas left. The Filmhouse was an important element in the cultural life of the city.
