Thanks to @photob , I got to try out his 24mm fisheye lens for the Mamiya 645 system, when our Darkroom Group recently enjoyed an outing to the BC Farm Equipment Museum in Fort Langley,
The item pictured is one of the pieces of historic farm equipment at the museum - I believe it was used to harvest hay.
I've almost no experience with fisheye lenses, so Bob's generous loan was definitely appreciated, because it gave me a chance to have some fun seeing what I might be able to do with it.
I think you are right Matt. My farm neighbor had one just about like it when I was a kid. It was pulled by his tractor(or maybe a horse team) and a farm wagon was pulled behind that. It would pickup loose mowed hay or straw off the field, elevate it and drop it onto the wagon.
Very impressive Matt, such a strong perspective and the sharpness and tonality are excellent. It truly is a wonderful thing to be out-and-about with the group enjoying film photography
