Workshop run by Bob Szabo. Just finished up, April 7th and 8th.
But a good book to read would be M. Carey Lea's "A Manual of Photography". Google for it, PDFs available. Other good ones abound like Quinn Jacobson's book, Will Dunniway's manual, John Coffer's manual. All good.
These are great; it evokes a 'scenic' daguerreotype from the 1840's. I've been wondering about printing collodion negs as cyanotypes, vdb, and platinum as I've never seen this (as opposed to salted paper prints, pop, albumen). Really beautiful.
