Benbow Pond

An attempt to capture the mist rising off the pond late one very overcast January afternoon.

As I'm pretty new to the darkroom and also new to the scanner comments will be appreciated.

This is a gorgeous image - well composed and well executed. Thanks for sharing it.

I like the tree and I'm intrigued by the building in the distance. (What is it). The overall image appears soft but that could be the scan. The upper right corner is blown out on my monitor (I'm at home using my MAC right now) If this is the way it is on the print, you may want to burn it in a bit.

I like the composition very much. Try printing it on a warm tone paper and burn in right hand side or even top one third. It may also help to burn in a bit at the bottom. Personally I would print it with a bit more contrast. Well done.
