nice tonal range....seems to lack the usual graininess of x-ray film...what brand and iso is it?

Thanks, Miles. It is from CXSOnline, high speed blue 8x10, which I cut down to 4x5. I meterd these at ASA 100. I started my testing with ASA 25 and moved up until I got reproducible results under a range of conditions. I am using Diafine to develop, so when I move back to my "regular" developer (Microdol-X) I will probably from back to ASA 75 and start there.

WOW! nice. i got some green and blue x ray film i will begin to use next week! thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks for the good comments. The rocks are algae covered rock in a waterfall in the back yard and they alway go to black because the surface of them is like felt and reflects very little except where the water is moving over them and they are shiny. The other image shows a much greater range of midtones.
