A real slice of history. Thanks. When I looked at the thumbnail I laughingly thought I'll go to the comments and say" I thought this was Nikita Kruschev" . Not for a moment thinking I was nearer the truth than I realised. I remember the shoe banging on the table, U2,Ike's embarassment, the Cuban Missile crisis, Dr Strangelove etc. The late 50's and early 60's all take on an amusing look NOW. We need to try and look at today's events from 40 years into the future. It's difficult to fight if you have a smile on your face. Here's to the philosophy that things are always hopeless but never serious.
