1200 Pennsylvania Ave

Been eyeing this building for years. Streets are empty, save a few parked car, of course that was after standing there for almost 15 minutes waiting for a break in traffic. It had to be a decent break for the 4 second exposure.

Isn't it interesting how certain places just catch our attention and stick in our minds for long periods of time? It looks like your observing and waiting paid off!

Nice shot. Very sharp for a pinhole. And your arrows are very nice compositional elements.

Thanks Daniela and mfohl. I am glad I finally stopped, of course it helps that I’m retired now. The arrows were a happy surprise since there’s no view finder or ground glass, just a couple of site lines on the camera body. The curved film plane also helped accentuate the arrows. Just printed the image in the darkroom which was fun since it was the first image from the camera that I have printed.
