Hi Peter.

Thank you for the welcome (even though it is four years late).

I don't suppose that Trim Castle has completely fallen down yet so that I can get some different views of it?

Regards.

Michael

Hi All, I'm Dylan from Dublin. I'm pretty new to film and photography in general, been shooting 35mm and developing at home then scanning digitally since December last.
Just recently I completed a printing workshop with Peter @ thephotoshop during which he mentioned about this forum so I thought I'd drop by and say hello!
My plan now is to get access to a darkroom and get practicing. I've dropped by a few camera clubs over the past while but there didn't seem to be many members shooting film so it's nice to see a bit of a community here to get some help and advice.

Cheers, Dylan.

Hi I’m Ade & I’ve gotten back into analog shooting again after spending about 9 years on the digital dark side. I shoot b&w 120mm, 35mm.

Dylan, the only camera club in Dublin with a darkroom is Dublin Camera Club in Camdem st. You have to be a member a while to get the keys for full access. The other options are Gallery of Photography which may be expensive. Hope this helps.

Hello from Cork

I'm into analogue photography of all sorts and formats, alternative processes, digital photography (just dont like post processing so what comes from camera thats it). I had a long brake from photography (25 years like) so since 2 years I put my first steps in it once again...

and hello from Ballinderry Lower in Co. Antrim. I'm another Michael, 80 years old and have downsized basically to a couple of Leica bodies, using their cassettes with bulk film and doing a little darkroom printing (darkroom of a sort). I still have my 1955 Brownie 127 and give it the odd nostalgic airing. Any colour is done on a Sony Alpha 6000.

Thank you to ludwik for bumping this thread, which has passed me by all these years...

Welcome to APUG Photrio!!

Welcome ludwik and Michael, there used to be an active group here but not so much over the last few years. However there is still a considerable group of us organising meetups on a whatsapp group, so message me if you'd like to join up.

Useful information can be found in some forums but FaceBook is a poor location for events. After all FaceBook was setup to brag to ones high school friends.
